Meet Moni — A Playful, Snuggly 10-lb Chug Looking for Her Forever Family!

Moni is an adorable 8-month-old Chug (Chihuahua/Pug mix) who came to us after being abandoned, but she hasn’t let her past dampen her joyful spirit. At just 10 pounds, she’s the perfect mix of playful energy and loving affection.

Moni may take a few minutes to warm up, but once she trusts you, she becomes the snuggliest companion you could ask for—with plenty of zoomies and goofy joy sprinkled in!

Personality:
This sweet girl is affectionate, cheerful, and always ready for fun. She loves to play but equally enjoys curling up in your lap for cuddles. Moni is still a puppy at heart, eager to explore, learn, and bond with her people.

Dog-Friendly:
Moni enjoys playing with other dogs and would be delighted to have a furry playmate. She would also just as happy being the center of attention as an only pup with continued socialization.

Training:
As a young pup, Moni will need a family who can continue her training and help her blossom into a confident, well-mannered adult dog. She’s bright, eager to please, and motivated by treats and affection.

Interested in adopting one of our rescue dogs? Here are the steps to a successful adoption:

1) Review the dog's picture and bio;

2) Fill out an Adoption Application

3) We will screen your application* and call you to tell you more about the dog,

4) A Meet and Greet will be set up. All members of your household (dogs and humans) must attend the meet and greet;

5) If you are approved for adoption, pay the adoption fee, sign the adoption contract and receive the dog's health records;

6) Love and adore your new dog!

Our organization - Forever Home Dog Rescue - values your privacy. Any and all application information is private and will not be shared outside of our organization with ANY other party. After a decision is made on a dog, all applicant and adopter personal information will be disposed of by shredding. We do not retain any application information past adoption in an effort to preserve the security and privacy of applicants. Vaccination, microchip and medical records of adopted and current dogs can be accessed under the dogs name and month of adoption.

More about this rescue

Forever Home Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We receive dogs from owner surrenders and overcrowded shelters. All of the dogs are housed in private, loving foster homes or a kennel in the greater Seattle area. We assess their behaviors and health and help them relax during their transition to a forever home. The dogs remain in foster care or in our kenneling facility until they are adopted. All of the dogs are/or will be spayed or neutered, microchipped and are current on routine vaccinations.

Forever home dog rescue is not a shelter and thus you cannot see the dogs without an appointment.

We need foster homes! Thinking about adopting a dog, but not sure yet about which breed or if you're ready for the long-term commitment? Consider becoming a foster parent. A foster dog placement can be anywhere from two weeks to several months. We provide any dog supplies you may need and cover all necessary medical costs for your foster dog. You provide the love and attention and bring the dogs to adoption events at least twice per month.
