My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Laurie Partridge has ditched the bus!  She's banished the band, retired from the road, quit the keyboard!  Yes, she's young for retirement, but our Laurie deserves it.  Laurie Partridge is from a large family (one of Shirley's kittens, mother to Keith Partridge), but unfortunately not a traveling band family like her namesake, but from a hoarding situation.

The last bus stop on the tour couldn't have come fast enough for Laurie, she arrived, kittens in tow, needing a helping hand (and paw) from Shirley & her foster mom to get her back on her feet.  You'd never know it now though - Laurie is now a teen idol - beautiful, shiny orange stripes, bright, happy eyes.  Demure Laurie has so much love to give - she loves taking care of the other kitties in her family - cuddling them, washing them.

Laurie is looking for her permanent place, her forever family, who will be patient and let her realize it's her turn to be taken care of now!  Laurie would do great with other cats, she adores them, and calm, older children.

You can see more pictures and videos of our fosters on our facebook page:  Sophia L'Orange Kitten Rescue

All of our adoptable animals are cared for and assessed in foster homes (we do not have a shelter), up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV, before they are adopted. They have had de-worming medication as a standard of care and Flea/Tick/Ear Mite preventive treatment. Medical records will be released with the adopted pet.
