Meet the Pet
This helps Sophia L'Orange Kitten Rescue with pet care costs.
Alert the press - the cryptozoologists were right! We now have indisputable proof that Sasquatches are real - meet Sas! Sasquatch translates to "wild man," but no one told our Sas he's supposed to be a wild cat. At first a little hard to spot, keeping with the lore, but now Sas has really started coming out of hiding. Sas is a handsome tuxedo kitten, he has the cutest black chin spot ever and gorgeous gold eyes. Sasquatch is the larger of the cryptids, he feels twice as heavy as tiny Nessie, he's definitely growing into his name. Sas has really opened up, he likes Nessie to explore things first, but once she says it's okay he's quick to follow now! Sas LOVES to play. His favorite toys are the rainbow string toy and the stacker toy - endless fun! He can't resist sneaking up on the toy, stalking... then flying through the air to catch it! He is so much fun to play with. Once he's all tired out he's very affectionate - he'll wind around your legs until he gets the pets he was looking for. He will jump up on your lap for pets too, he'll stay for a bit, but is often happier settling in to cuddle & purr near you rather than on you. Sas is still learning about being part of a household, after all, not long ago this cryptid was in the wild, so it takes him a little bit to be comfortable with new people and sounds. More and more, every day, Sas has decided to leave the wild in his past and enjoy the joys of being a house kitten - people to play with, pet him and love him!
Best in a home w/ older/calm children or adults. Cryptids are still a bit jumpy when things startle them.
As a general rule, we recommend that young kittens only go in pairs or to households that already have another pet. Young kittens on their own, no matter how much attention they get from humans, usually get bored and tend to be more destructive. They need another animal to help socialize them (to learn how to appropriately wrestle, boundaries, etc). Most times having another cat is the best, though some may be okay with a gentle dog. Sas LOVES his sister and would do so well with her.

All of our adoptable animals are cared for and assessed in foster homes (we do not have a shelter), up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV, before they are adopted. They have had de-worming medication as a standard of care and Flea/Tick/Ear Mite preventive treatment. Medical records will be released with the adopted pet.
