She came in as a stray on 11/9/25, and we believe she’s about 5–6 years old. Nala is already spayed and ready to start her new life.
Just look at that sweet face! You can tell immediately that she’s a lovable, gentle girl. Her coat is absolutely stunning—rich, soft, and even more beautiful in person than the photos can capture.
Nala has all the makings of a wonderful companion. She’s the kind of dog who will happily share quiet moments, soak up affection, and adore being part of someone’s life. Whoever adopts her is going to be very lucky.

Our office is open Monday- Friday 8:30-4:30 and Saturdays from 10:00-2:00. Our kennels are closed on Mondays. The kennels are open Tuesday- Friday 11:00-4:15, Saturdays we open 10:00-1:45.

Did you know... The Richland County Dog Warden's Office & Adoption Center is self-funded and does not receive any tax paying dollars. Our revenue comes from dog license fees, adoptions, impound fees, and YOUR donations. You can send Donations by check or money order to the shelter: 810 N. Home Rd. Mansfield, Ohio 44906.
The shelter always accepts cash donations. However, there are always other things we need too. You can call it a wish list: Bleach, laundry detergent, Capstar flea tablets, Advantage flea drops, pet shampoo,Paper Towels, and sturdy collars and leashes for our dogs here at the facility and those going on transport to rescue.
