My story

Hi, my name is Versace! As you can see by all my photos, I am adorable. In fact, my foster mom says I’m beautiful. I was very shy at first, but I am completely confident and have come out of my shell. I am a very gentle kitten and my foster mom says my heart is more beautiful than my face. I adore cuddles, purrs and making lots of biscuits on my loved one’s lap. I would do great in a home with another cat or two, but I’m not a big fan of dogs. I may be a little shy at first, but with patience and kindness, I will trust you completely and you will become my world. I know that Christmas is almost here, and I was told that everyone gets one Christmas wish; my wish this year is to have my very own forever home. I just want a family to love. If you’re interested in adopting me and granting my Christmas wish please fill out the adoption form online. I’ve been told I’ll be ready for my forever home very soon.

Versace was born around July 16, 2025, and is currently being fostered in Waterbury. She is fixed, up-to-date on shots, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved.

We are a foster-based rescue. All our cats reside in private homes. A meet-and-greet can be arranged for approved adopters only.

Additional adoption info

The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an adoption application, which can be found on our website at www.fosterandforever.org. If all is well on your application, we will contact you about setting up a home visit by one of our volunteers.

**Please give your vet permission to release information to us as we check references.

The adoption fee for our cats covers the cost of spaying/neutering, age appropriate routine vaccinations, deworming, snap test, and flea preventive treatment. Some of our older cats are offered at a reduced fee in order to encourage placement in a permanent home.

Foster and Forever Pet Rescue Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue that was founded in 2011. We have been working since then to improve the lives of abandoned, abused and homeless animals by serving as an umbrella under which foster homes will provide care for homeless animals until loving permanent homes can be found.

We provide spay/neuter services and all necessary medical care, as well as food and supplies, and find foster homes to care for the animals we rescue until we are able to find them forever homes.
