Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi everyone I'm Leo that in my few short months of life have had it pretty rough. I was found outside around 5 weeks old with a really bad cold, fleas and ear mites. The people that found took me to the vet and got me started on medicine while they waited for a rescue to help me. With the severity of my cold the doctors weren't sure if that was the cause of my loss of sight or a birth defect. Leo does have very slight vison out of his top left eye that allows him to see shapes/shadows slightly however Leo has great hearing and has learned his name so well. As soon as he hears "Leo" he picks his head up to your direction. Leo is a typical kitten who loves to play and wrestle other cats as well as play with toys. He is also no stranger to just laying down and taking a nap wherever he is, although he loves the big dog bed we often find him asleep in the weirdest hiding places. At bed time Leo always follows us to bed and sleeps next to us.
Leo doesn't let his lack of sight keep him down, he runs all throughout the house, up and down the stairs. A big help at learning the house came to his foster brother Edie. When Leo came into the rescue Edie took him under his wing, protected him, played with him and would stay with him as he walked around the house. We feel it is in the best interest of Leo that he gets adopted only with Edie. Edie has been such an important part of Leo's life they need to stay together. Both boys can be adopted together at a reduced adoption fee of $200 for both. Both boys are neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and FIV/FeLv tested negative.
