Hi! I’m ALVIN! I’m the bold one of my brothers. First to try something new and go out and explore. I am a chihuahua mix born in mid September
So right now I live in a playpen area with 2 of my brothers. My foster has kids (9 & 13) who love on me alot (it’s never enough) and 3 dogs (10, 30, 80lbs), Cat, and Guinea pig who think we are pretty entertaining. I am still learning to use the potty pads in our area but getting better every day. We also have a crate we can go in to sleep at night. Due to my age I am still exploring with my mouth, but I LOVE the rubbery bones so a simple reminder of where they are is helpful.
I love bouncing around, from playing with a toy, trying to get the big dogs to play with me, or a human lap to snuggle in. I crave fun (because who wouldn’t). Once I’ve let the play out I LOVE a good cuddle and affection.
I’m tiny, but like all puppies I need structure, training (house, behavioral), socialization, patience, and love. I am going to be a wonderful dog for the family willing to put in the work puppies require. A home with kids 8+ is preferred

The adoption fee of $550 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed!
*please note that we are a foster home based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Thank you for your understanding.
