My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the sweetest duo you'll ever encounter: Reed (male) and Oboe (female)! These adorable one-and-a-half year old kitties are pure sunshine in fur form, equal parts snuggly, playful, and endlessly loving.

Reed and Oboe are world-class cuddlers who never turn down scratches or belly rubs. They're incredibly affectionate, wonderfully gentle, and always ready for a churru treat or a game with their favorite toy balls!

While we don't know for sure if they're biological siblings, they were rescued together from the same hoarding situation and have formed a deep, sibling-like bond. They comfort each other, play together, and nap curled up like two halves of one fluffy heart. These two are constant joy-makers and would be the perfect addition to any loving home. If you're looking for affectionate, playful companions who bring happiness wherever they go, Reed and Oboe are ready to steal your heart.

Reed and Oboe are both spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Reed and Oboe are a bonded pair and MUST be adopted together. If you’re interested in adopting these cuties, please fill out an application at www.brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms and designate Jennie AnneS as the rescuer.

Thank you for your interest in a rescued kitty! All adoption fees and donations go to saving the next sweetie.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Interested adopters first fill out an adoption application, after which they can visit our animals in their foster homes. If they would like to adopt and their application is approved, they then complete an adoption contract. We also ask for an adoption fee to help us continue our work.
