Meet Elmer! If you`re looking for a sweet hound companion, you`ve found him! Elmer walks well on a leash and really enjoys walking on trails. No surprise, he leads with his nose and is in heaven when you let him take his time to sniff and explore. He is picky about his treats and would rather take them from the ground than your hand. Elmer has shown some interest in toys and would likely enjoy them once he`s settled into a home environment. He may come off as aloof before he knows you, but will be curled up next to you on your couch in no time. Elmer is a great choice for any family. Come in and meet him today!

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Come on in and find your new best friend! Walk through our kennels and find a pet that you're interested in.

2.

Submit Application

Proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for any other dogs/cats in your home is required prior to meeting with any of our adoptable animals

3.

Meet the Pet

You will get the chance to meet in a private visitation room. Meet & greets are required for dogs

4.

Pay Fee

$110 for dogs. $75 for cats. The second fee is waived if two cats are adopted together. Includes spay/neuter, chip, and vaccines

5.

Take the Pet Home

Your new pet can go home once they are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and have received their rabies vaccination.
