Haven is a playful little ray of sunshine who loves dogs, cats, and people of all sizes. She’s curious about the world and believes every new adventure is better when shared with her favorite humans. Whether it’s chasing toys, romping in the yard, or curling up after a long day of puppy fun, she’s all in!
She’s a smart cookie too — working on her house training and dog-door skills, learning quickly that good girls get treats (and she really likes treats). Expect daily giggles, silly antics, and more tail wags than you can count.

Hay Dude Equine Rescue, in Boerne, TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs, are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each pup comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, microchipped, heartworm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.
Hay Dude Equine Rescue, in Boerne, TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs, are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. The purpose and objective of our organization is to perform the following educational and charitable activities, as well as providing both shelter services to equines, and rehabilitation to abused, neglected or abandoned horses:
(1) promote and educate the public on horse slaughter and equine abuse
(2) Rescue, retrain and rehome slaughter bound, abused, or neglected horses
(3) educate the public on proper horse care and husbandry
(4) offer assistance to equine owners in times of natural or personal disaster
(5) rehabilitate neglected and abused equines
(6) accept donations of rehomeable equines for adoption and placement
(7) adopt equines into thoroughly vetted homes
