Meet Mint Mocha, a gentle female pup around six and a half years old, whose plight tore at a volunteer's heartstrings enough for her to receive a rare overnight stay outside the shelter! Picked up by Animal Control after she was found pawing at a stranger's door wanting to come in on a cold November night, this sweet girl arrived emaciated beyond belief with no ID. She didn't seek trouble—she was just a hungry pup wanting snackies and lovin's. During her brief time in a home environment, she happily ate, took a bath, and began to decompress, showing her gratitude with her gentle nature. Mint Mocha is now safe and resting at the shelter while her next steps are determined, but what she truly needs is a patient foster or forever home where she can fully recover and finally realize what true love and comfort feel like.
