Meet **Jack (#31849)** 🐶✨
Jack came to us as a stray, but you’d never know it—this boy is **SO HAPPY** every single moment! 🐾😄 He lights up the second he sees you at his kennel and goes absolutely over the moon for walks. He’s a strong puller who loves to zig, zag, and bounce with excitement, so be ready for some joyful energy!

Jack’s favorite treasure? A **light-up toy** 💡🧸—he’ll happily dig through the toy bin to find it. He’s still working on his manners, but he already knows how to **sit** and appears to be **potty trained** 👍.

In group play, Jack is a rockstar ⭐. He consistently plays well with dogs who match his energetic style and loves chase and keep-away with equal-sized, equally active pups. Fair warning: stuffed toys don’t stand a chance—he’s on a mission to find every squeaker! 🐻💥

Meet and greets with your family dog and shelter dog is encouraged. Dog and cat meet and greets are not allowed.

$80 for all kitten/cat adoptions. $90 for all puppy/dog adoptions. $35 for all rabbit adoptions.

Additional adoption info

The shelter is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with adoptions closing at 4:30pm. The shelter is closed on Sundays and all government observed holidays.

City of Henderson Animal Care and Control is the only open admission animal shelter in the City of Henderson. We service the City of Henderson and the residents and animals within city limits. Our goal is to find forever homes for all adoptable animals and reunite pets with their people. We work with multiple rescue groups and allow any good adoptee to adopt from our shelter.
