My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Purr Patch and Poppyseed are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.

Hi there! I’m Purr Patch, a soft, sweet little kitten with a big heart and an even bigger purr. I might be a tiny bit shy when I first meet new people, but don’t worry—I warm up fast, especially if you’re holding a wand toy! If you sit on the floor with me, I’ll come right over to say hello.

I’m a friendly girl who loves lap time, cuddles, being picked up, brushed, and petted. I get along great with other cats and kids, and I’m always ready for playtime. Feather toys are my absolute favorite—I leap, twirl, and show off all my best moves! I also love tunnels, balls, boxes, and watching “cat TV.” (Birds and fish are my top channels.)

What I love most is spending time with my sister, Poppyseed. We groom each other, snuggle, and purr like little engines when we’re curled up in our cat tree. I especially love washing her face, which she pretends to hate, but I know she secretly loves it.

If you’re looking for a gentle, playful kitten with a loving spirit, I’d be so happy to be your little Purr Patch in life. You'll want to take me home with my sister—we make the perfect pair.

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
