Hi everyone! My name is Shadow. They tell me I’m about 6 months old — I’m just a baby! — but they also tell me I’m a very good girl.
I’m so thankful for the folks at Fancy Cats & Dogs Rescue who saved me from the euthanasia list at the shelter and stepped up to foster me at a moment’s notice. But do you know what I want more than anything else for Christmas this year? A forever home. Won’t you make my dreams come true… please?
As a puppy, I’m chock full of that joyful, lovable puppy exuberance that so many people love so much. My foster dad says I love showering him and other humans with kisses, snuggling up close on the couch or in bed at night, and playing with his other rescue dogs. I’m fascinated by the sights and sounds I encounter in the world when I’m looking out the window or trotting along on a walk. I’m working to learn all of the commands and skills that a puppy like me is supposed to learn! And they tell me I’m making good progress — as you can see from the video, I’ve already mastered “sit!” I’m up-to-date on all my shots and medical check-ups and I was recently spayed.
All I want is to be a good girl for you — the best girl! — and a forever home where I’ll be safe, welcomed, fed, and loved. I promise that I’ll repay you in love, loyalty, and kisses a million times over. Can you find it in your heart to welcome me into your family this holiday season?
