Jake is an independent girl who prefers her own space and is still learning to trust people. Right now, she enjoys gentle pets mainly while she’s eating, but with time and patience she can continue to come out of her shell. Jake needs a quiet, low-stress home with someone who understands shy cats and is willing to let her set the pace. She’s looking for a calm, understanding adopter who can give her the space and safety she needs to thrive.

We like to discuss your wants, needs, and expectations. We contact your vet for references. We can do video chat for home visit, and then have you meet the cat or cats of your choice.

More about this rescue

We take in fully vetted cats from shelters and rescues, as well as individuals in need. Cats must be spayed/neutered, leukemia tested negative, and have current rabies, FVRCP, and leukemia shots. We house the cats with love and care until adopted.
