My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Keisha (aka Libby) 🐾💗

Keisha was adopted from us back in 2022 and later renamed Libby. Sadly, she was declawed — something we do not condone, as declawing removes the first knuckle and is extremely painful for cats. 💔 Despite everything she’s been through, this beautiful girl still has so much love to give.

She was recently returned to us after being scared of another cat in the home. Now, Keisha/Libby is ready for her true second chance — a calm, loving home where she can finally feel safe. She’s a friendly, affectionate girl who loves food, attention, and lounging around like the queen she is.

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

We like to meet prospective adopters and be with them when they meet a potential new pet.

2.

Meet the Pet

Meet and greets are strongly encouraged if there are other dog(s) and/or cat(s) or children in the home

3.

Sign Adoption Contract

Renter's are required to provide letter from landlord approving a pet or additional pet

4.

Pay Fee

Our fees are low and do not cover much of the expenses we put into the animal prior to its becoming available for adoption.

5.

Take the Pet Home

We ask new owners to not return an animal before 9 days so its entry time can restart.

6.

Take the Pet Home

We remind the new family that it may take up to 3 months for a dog to decompress, learn the the family's routine, and feel at home.

Additional adoption info

We have the right and responsibility to the animal and the prospective new owner to refuse an adoption.
