Rockette is a very special girl. She loves her family fiercely and is excellent with her human baby sister and dog brother. She is incredibly well trained and has been through multiple types of training courses and behavioral training. She knows sit, down, stay, wait, off, heel, leave it, up, and spin. She loose walks on her leash, doesnt bark, react, or misbehave when in public. If anything, she is timid and shy. As long as her environment is 100% controlled, she is a model dog.
She, unfortunately, has also developed territorial aggression. She hasn't aggressively bitten anyone, but she has nipped and ran at anyone that is outside when she has slipped out. We are deeply concerned that she will end up taken and euthanized, and my heart just can't take it.
We are hoping that a fresh start in a loving home may be what she needs. If she can enter a new environment and learn from the get go to be comfortable with neighbors and new people, she may be a happier, safer dog.
