Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Daytona, a 2-year-old spayed female who is still feeling very scared in the shelter environment. The noises, new faces, and unfamiliar surroundings are a lot for her right now — but we believe there’s a loving, gentle cat beneath that fear. Daytona is currently living in our community cat room and doing well with the other cats around her. Having feline companions nearby seems to help her feel a little more secure. With a calm home and a patient adopter who lets her settle in at her own pace, she’ll have the chance to show just how special she truly is.If you’re someone who understands that trust takes time — Daytona is waiting for you.
Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 822. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday.
Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 21 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
