My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there… I’m Ozzy!
Tabby & White | Frost-Kissed Ears | Professional Sweetheart

If you’re reading this, I just want to start by saying thank you. Not long ago, life looked very different for me. I survived the unforgiving Minnesota winters all on my own, hoping every night that I’d make it until morning. My ears still carry the marks of frostbite, little reminders of how hard things once were.

But everything changed when I was rescued and brought to the sanctuary. Now?
I’m warm, safe, fed, and, best of all, wanted. I can’t tell you how grateful I am to finally have soft beds, loving humans, and a full belly every day.

I’m a gentle, affectionate guy who loves all the classics: pets, belly rubs, head scratches, and any sort of special treat you might have for me. I’ll sprawl out in the sun and show off my cutest poses if you’re nearby. I’m also a huge fan of catnip, bananas, plants, whatever form you’ve got, I’m interested.

I do have cat friends here, and I tolerate them just fine… but I wouldn’t mind being your one and only. Sometimes if another cat bugs me too much, I’ll give them a little bop on the noggin to remind them of personal space. Nothing dramatic, just Ozzy being Ozzy.

If you’re looking for a sweet, grateful, sun-loving companion with a big heart and a bigger personality, I’d really love to meet you.

Come visit me any day (even holidays!) from 1–5 PM at the sanctuary.
I’ll be waiting, probably sprawled out in a cozy bed, looking adorable.

I have excellent litter box habits. My new perfect family NEEDS to understand that it WILL take me a while to adjust at first and I WILL hide as I settle in. Give me time, patience, and use food as a tool to get me out of my shell — I really am a wonderful cat.

I am fully vetted: neutered, microchipped, FIV & FeLV negative, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations. I even had a dental recently, so my teeth are all clean! I require an indoor-only home and, as with all cats — absolutely no declawing.
