I’m looking to find a new home for Gizmo, my 10-year-old Maltese. We’ve had him since he was a puppy, and he’s always been part of our family. Due to significant changes in family circumstances over the years, I took him in when I moved into my apartment. Unfortunately, I’ve learned that he has developed severe separation anxiety, and with my current work schedule and apartment setup, I can’t provide the stable environment he needs.
Gizmo is a healthy, well-behaved boy who deserves a loving home where someone can help him work through his anxiety. He would do best in a home where his occasional barking or howling won’t disturb neighbors.
He’s a little spoiled but he’s a fast learner and loves attention. I’ll also provide all of his supplies to make the transition easier, including a 6+ month supply of his kibble, his bed, toys, and grooming supplies.
We’d love to stay in touch and check in from time to time, if possible as he means a lot to our family.
