Oreo is an angel! She loves attention and gives so much love with all her heart! And she wants just as much love back too! Being combed is one of her favorite joys in life, along with Fancy Feast canned pate food! With a long coat like hers loving the comb is a great thing! This darling sweet girl is a talker and will let you know her desires with gentle head butts. Cat scratchers or a nice cat tree is a must as she is a professional at keeping her nails trimmed and sharp. There is a lot of killing of toy mice to be done! Due to past trauma, she doesn’t like being picked up and no fast hand movements above or near her head. If she doesn’t like something she will give a warning nibble, but never bites! Slow and steady wins the race with her. She does not like other cats but is good with the calm friendly dog in her foster home. She will need a quieter home with no young children. Oreo does love cuddling in your lap, a soft bed to lounge, and gentle scritches and scratches. Being around 8 years old sunbathing in the yard would be very appreciated and loved by her. Sign Adoption Contract
Once you meet the kitty, if you and the kitty are a good fit for each other, then you will sign the contract and pay the adoption fee.

We require that adopters sign our adoption contract and a legally binding no-declawing agreement. There is an adoption fee. Most adult cats are $80 except for those who are sponsored or part of a special. Kittens under 8 months are $135. All adults are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens are adopted at 12 weeks of age or older and are spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Clear Creek Cat Rescue is a group of individuals in Alaska dedicated to rescuing cats in need, giving them care, rehabilitation if needed, and finding happy homes for them. We each give what we can to help these cats get through this most unfortunate time in their lives when they have been taken to the pound or are otherwise lost and homeless. Some of us share our homes with these cats while they are waiting for their forever family, some transport them from place to place, some host adoption fairs, take pictures, post ads. Some offer financial help. And through this dedicated group of people, more than a thousand cats have been saved and found loving homes.
