My story

Hey, I’m Watson and just like the mystery guy, I’m pretty good about figuring things out. I carefully study my foster siblings and try to follow their lead. They provide so much comfort when the humans leave the house! So having another dog for comfort is a must. Things are a lot different in my foster home than where I was living. It takes me time to warm up and I’m learning to join in the fun with the other dogs and toys. I’m pretty smart; it only took four days to learn how the doggy door works! I want to be near my human which means following you from place to place. Adopting me means a lifetime of love and companionship! To meet me, fill out an application at waalrescue.org/adopt.

Visits with animals will not be setup until we have an approved application on file. All animals are in foster homes.

The Wichita Animal Action League, or WAAL, is an all-volunteer, licensed rescue and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created in November 2013 to advocate for all abused, neglected and abandoned animals in the Wichita, Kansas area. WAAL is an action oriented group dedicated to rescuing animals in crisis.
