Joy is a dog that my 19 year old's girlfriend is trying to save from going to the pound. Apparently, someone she knew, had the dog and when the owner was going to take Joy to the pound, my 19 year old's girlfriend stepped in and started having her friends foster. She thought she had someone who was going to take Joy but that fell through. I have 3 pound puppies of my own but told my 19 year old and his girlfriend that they could keep Joy at my house while they looked for a forever home but that she could only stay up to just before Thanksgiving as I can't afford to board 4 dogs while I go out of town.
Unfortunately, neither my 19 year old, his girlfriend or I (including some of my friends) have been able to find a home for Joy.
