What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Moose is an amazing dog. He has a lot of energy and needs someone who has time to put into training him and getting that energy out. He also needs a tall fence, he can jump 5 foot fences. He can be nervous when first meeting someone. We have a 7 month old, just moved here and are living with family and with our 2 other dogs we just don’t have the time to give him that he deserves.
If interested in adopting him you’d need a vet that you have picked out for Moose and have already scheduled his first visit, a home visit and a few meet and greets with anyone in the house to be sure it’s a good fit for everyone involved. We’d need regular updates on him for the first year of adoption that will be included in the transfer of ownership paperwork.
We know this seems excessive but we want to make sure he is in a home that is a good fit for him and that cares about his wellbeing.
