My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I’m Onion, a charming orange and white tabby looking for my forever home. I came from the vet, where I was well cared for, and now I’m ready to bring joy to your life!

I’m a sweet and affectionate boy who loves to cuddle and play. My playful personality and purrs will surely brighten your days.

If you’re looking for a furry friend to share your adventures with, I might just be the perfect match for you! Let’s create some wonderful memories together!

How much does it cost to adopt?
Onion`s adoption price is $110, with an additional $25 charge due to being spayed/neutered in or before HHS`s care. Also including a free vet visit from one of our three area veterinary clinic partners: Alpena Veterinary Clinic, Switzer Veterinary Clinic, or Sunrise Veterinary Clinic, and the peace of mind of knowing your new furry family member is up-to-date on all standard age-appropriate vaccinations and preventative treatments, along with testing and a bag of adoption food. He was also vaccinated for rabies, so a $25 charge has been added to cover the cost of the vaccine. The total cost to adopt Onion is $160.
