Meet Casper!
Casper is an adorable Beagle/Hound mix, born in early August 2025, and already 19 lbs of goofy, sniff-loving fun. His absolute favorite hobby? Following his nose—especially when leaves are involved!
Casper can be a little timid with new people and isn’t thrilled about loud noises, but with gentle introductions he warms up beautifully. He’s great with other dogs, kids, and even cats, making him a wonderful fit for many families.
This sweet boy sleeps through the night in his pen and is working hard on his potty training. And when he gets tired? He’s the first one to climb into your lap for cuddles—his snuggle game is strong.
If you’re looking for a loving, playful pup who just needs a bit of patience and a lot of affection, Casper may be your perfect match!

Your application will be reviewed by our team and if it is a good fit, we will send to the foster family to set up a meet!
The adoption fee of $550 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed!
*please note that we are a foster home based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Thank you for your understanding.
