Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Haley is deeply loyal and loving to her people. She`s the kind of dog who forms a true, unbreakable bond with those she trusts. Once you’re in her circle, you’ll have a devoted best friend for life. Haley isn’t one to roll out the welcome mat for strangers. She prefers a smaller, trusted circle of humans who understand her boundaries. Because of that, she’ll do best with an experienced dog owner, and someone familiar with Rottweilers would be an even better fit. She will need to be the only pet in the home.
When she’s not busy being your loyal shadow, Haley loves her stuffed animals! She’ll proudly carry them around and play to her heart’s content! She’s a playful girl at heart and enjoys her favorite toys just as much as she enjoys her people. Haley does have a few medical needs, including arthritis in her spine and hip dysplasia, and she’s had a couple of masses removed. Her adopter will need to be dedicated to keeping up with her vet care to ensure she continues feeling her best. Because of her strong personality and medical needs, we recommend a home without young children. To meet Haley, please call 843-249-4948 to schedule an appointment, or you can submit an application at https://humanesocietynmb.org/dog-adoption-form/
If you are interested in fostering Haley, please submit a foster application at https://humanesocietynmb.org/be-a-foster-caregiver/

HSNMB does not hold animals and all adoptions are done on a first-come, first-served basis in person at the shelter. Once the adoption is completed and the fee is paid, you must take the animal with you at that time.
Please be sure to bring a photo ID and cash or a credit card for the adoption fee. The primary caregiver is required to be present to go through the adoption process. Any children 5 and under and, in some cases, any existing dogs living in the home will be required to be present and meet the animal prior to adopting. Meet and greets are not required for all animals, but may be deemed necessary by HSNMB staff for specific pets.
Adoption Fees:
Cats (over 6 months of age): $60
Kittens (under 6 months of age): $100
Dogs (over 6 months of age): $110
Puppies (under 6 months of age): $140
Seniors ages 60 and up qualify for discounted adoptions fees.
