My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marguerite: The Independent Socialite

Marguerite has officially traded her `shy shell` for a bold new life! While the shelter was overwhelming for this petite 2-year-old brown tabby, she has spent the last little bit in a foster home revealing her true, vibrant self. She isn`t just a survivor of the shelter; she’s a confident, curious girl who knows exactly what she wants.

Marguerite is what we like to call `affectionately independent.` She has evolved into a social butterfly who loves to be where the action is, but she prefers to set the rules of engagement.

Marguerite is a polite lady who values consent. She’ll get a little `sassy` if you dive in for pets too quickly—she prefers you offer a hand for a sniff first. She’ll let you know when she’s had enough attention with a quick love bite. She’s looking for a family that speaks `cat` and respects her boundaries.

While she isn`t a lap-cuddler (yet!), she is your tiny brown shadow. She will follow you from room to room just to see what you’re up to.

Marguerite has gained a massive amount of confidence around other animals. While her foster siblings weren`t quite ready to be her BFFs, Marguerite clearly wants a feline friend. She would thrive in a home with:
1.A Resident Cat: A friendly, welcoming feline who can match her play style.
2.Patient Humans: People who celebrate her `sassy` side and understand that she shows love by being near you rather than on top of you.
3.Routine: A steady environment where she can continue to blossom.

Marguerite has come so far from the `wallflower` she once was. Are you ready to welcome this quirky, curious, and beautifully honest girl into your heart?

Marguerite is spayed and has received core vaccinations (feline distemper, rabies), flea preventative, has been dewormed, and is microchipped.

If you have any questions about Marguerite, feel free to reach out at (920) 733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org, or stop by during our open hours to take a look around!
