My name is Lucinda!

Lucinda, or Lucy, is a lively, high-energy cat who loves to play. Wand toys are favorites, and she’ll happily chase if you’re willing to run around with her. She also amuses herself with ping-pong balls, pipe cleaners, and her animated mouse toys. She’s an enthusiastic climber and can often be found on top of the fridge or dresser and would enjoy a tall cat tree. 

Lucy is affectionate and curious. She enjoys being near her people, often naps on a lap during the day, and greets her foster when they come home. She is hesitant with new people at first but warms up quickly. She switches between energetic zoomies and quiet window-watching, and she likes to be involved in whatever her humans are doing, even typing on the computer.

She can become overstimulated with too much petting and may give light nips, including gentle hand-bites when she’s on a lap. She’s also very interested in houseplants and kitchen counters, especially when someone is using them, so we recommend only having cat-safe plants with her.

Lucy would do well in a home that enjoys an active, playful companion and has time each day for interactive play. She could fit into a home with kids, other pets, or a generally lively household.

Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped.
