🐾 Meet Charlie

Charlie is an 8-month-old Chihuahua with a big heart and an even bigger love for toys. Seriously—this little guy is obsessed with them! Whether it’s squeaky, crinkly, or fluffy, if it’s a toy, Charlie thinks it’s the greatest thing in the world.

When he’s not happily trotting around with his favorite toy, Charlie wants nothing more than to be with his human. He is a world-class cuddler who will curl right into you and soak up every bit of love and attention you offer.

So far, Charlie has shown wonderful house manners, such a smart and respectful little dude!

Charlie would absolutely thrive as the only pet. He gets jealous when other dogs take his spotlight, so he’s hoping to find a home where he can be his person’s one and only.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will make you laugh, keep you company, and always greet you with a toy in his mouth and love in his eyes, Charlie might just be your perfect match.

Pet will be on a trial adoption period for 7 days, if successful, adoption will be completed.

We will be very strict on our adoption process, and will ensure the pet is adopted once only, and finds a forever home.

Our foster dogs/pups are all in foster homes and can be met by appointment. We also will have regular adoption events at PetSmart and Pet Supply Plus stores.

Active Paws rescue will help pets in need through sheltering, adoption, education, spay/neuter, and community outreach.

Active Paws Rescue would love to see that every animal knows love and kindness. No animal should have to endure needless neglect and suffering. We will provide a voice to those that need it most.

We believe in not only helping the animals but educating our local communities on how to do better.
