So Apollo has quite a story actually...he too was rescued from this trailer park were currently helping and is apparently one of Novas kittens from last year. So just to begin his life he was born outdoors and spent a year outside fighting for survival. When we arrived at this park Apollo was in so much of a hurry to receive help that he actually allowed us just to pick him up and put him in a carrier. Once in rescue his personality just blossomed He absolutely is the sweetest boy who wants nothing but attention. Leave realized once he got situated that he had a huge bubble coming from his belly which was later determined a hernia. While he was sedated for his neuter they did a umbilical cord hernia correction as well so we had that fixed. Not even 2 days after his surgery he began running a fever of 104 and had to be rushed to the emergency room. He ended up having a seroma where his surgery site was. There simply felt like there was no winning for this sweet boy and to see him feeling defeated was so heartbreaking. Thankfully he recouped from that and us back to his good old normal self with a clean bill of health. He was neutered vaccinated and tested negative for FIV f e l v and heartworm. All he wants to do is give love from rolling around at your feet, to pushing into your knees, to pawing for your hand for attention! He is an absolute doll. He is going to be an extremely special extremely loving pet. He absolutely hates car rides and can be an absolute diva in a carrier as you can see in his pictures.
