Meet Alley — a resilient, playful, and quietly affectionate young cat with a heart of gold. Once found desperately trying to get food from a garbage can, she arrived at her foster home painfully skinny and truly starving. Over the last year, she has transformed into a healthy, spirited girl who’s ready for a loving forever home.
🐾 Playful & Athletic Alley loves interactive play — especially catch, where she shows off her impressive outfielder skills! She also enjoys wand toys and even batting at bubbles. Playtime brings out her confidence and silliness.
🐾 Growing Affection, At Her Pace Alley has made wonderful progress with touch. She started with gentle head pets, then allowed pets down her back, then her tail, and is now bravely working on accepting tummy rubs. She’s not a clingy cat, but she shows love in her own sweet ways — like giving surprise lick baths, which are her version of a hug.
🐾 Best With a Young Feline Friend After spending her first foster year mostly on her own (the resident cats preferred their space), Alley blossomed once foster kittens arrived — especially her “adopted” baby, Odie. She’s a caring, playful nanny and thrives around younger cats. She’ll do best in a home with a friendly feline companion.
🐾 Quiet & Respectful Alley rarely meows — except during “hunting mode” when she’s stalking a toy. But she does communicate with expressive looks, especially if dinner is running late. She’s polite, observant, and appreciates a predictable routine.
If you’re looking for a gentle, playful cat with a touching rescue story and a soft, tender personality, Alley would love to meet you — especially if you have another young cat ready to be her friend.
Born 2/2024. Scoop her up now and she can be with you for the holidays and beyond!

Additional adoption info
We do have an application form on our website. A home check is also done. We know our animals well and work hard to make sure the adoption will be a purr-fect match! We will be happy to answer your questions. We want an adoption to be the right fit for both the humans and the animal.
When you adopt a pet from us, you can rest assured that you are getting a pet who is much loved, well-cared for, and whom we know well. In turn, we know that an adopter will provide a loving, caring, home.
Cat adoptions are usually $125 each. Dog fees are based on breed. All are current on vaccinations and neutering. Some are microchipped. They are vetted again before delivery.
All of our adoptable cats and dogs are pictured on our website, with their videos, at www.lifelineforpets.org.
