Just like the ice cream, this boy is the perfect mix of sweet, a little nutty, and totally irresistible 😍

Rocky Road is a 1-year-old brindle beauty who found himself on the dreaded euthanasia list at Stanislaus Shelter through no fault of his own, just another amazing pup running out of time due to space. But not anymore! He’s officially safe with us and ready to start his next (and best!) chapter. 🎉

For now, he’s chillin’ with our friends at RFRD in San Jose, soaking up all the good vibes, snacks, and training tips while we search for a loving foster home. This handsome hunk is seemingly dog-friendly, loves to please his people, and hands out cuddles like it’s his full-time job. 🐾 he is a perfect petite snack sized little guy around 40-45lbs!

Submit Application

Interview

You will be contacted via email for an interview if we need to clarify any questions on your application as well as a pre-approval process.

3.
Meet the Pet

We will set up a meet and greet with all humans in the home and the pet you’re interested in, then a meet and greet with any resident dogs.

4.
Home Check

Next we will conduct a virtual or in person home check and reference check.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

After that you will sign our adoption contract, pay our adoption fee, and take your new family member home!

We respond to applications within 7-10 days. Dogs do not go home upon first meet and greet.

We have various meeting opportunities in person at local events in Northern California and Southern California. Soem dogs may or may not present, but dogs will never be allowed to be adopted at these events or sent home with anyone other than their fosters. An application and official meet and greet will always be required. More about this rescue

We are a 501c3 dog rescue that focuses on bully breeds. Most of our dogs have had either behavioral marks against them or medical issues. Our mission is to Reform the Dog Agenda through intentional rescue & educating the community.
