My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Location: Brooklyn Park, MN

Meet This Sweet Mama Janet 🌼

This gentle girl came to us scared and unsure, but with a few days of safety and routine, she started to open up. Janet has bonded beautifully with our family and is wonderful with my young kids — patient, calm, and happy to just be near her people.

She did take some time to warm up to our resident dog and can be food-protective around her,but she’s already making progress. She would thrive as the only dog in the home, where she can relax, feel secure, and take over the couch like she deserves.

She’s a fan of slow, easy walks, and while she can get nervous when she sees other dogs in the neighborhood, this too has been improving as she settles in. She is potty trained, kennel trained, and incredibly smart.

One of her best traits? She doesn’t bark when people come over or when the doorbell rings a quiet, calm presence in the home.

This sweet mama is looking for a home filled with love, patience, and understanding as she continues to heal and trust. She will repay that kindness tenfold with loyalty, affection, and the softest companionship. She is one of the best dogs if your looking for a peaceful, loving dog to cherish, she’s your girl. 💛

---------------

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).

Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
