Meet Rosie, a shy, petite, beautiful little girl. Rosie is the shyest and most cautious of all her siblings. This girl wears her heart on her paw. She, unfortunately, has inherited her Mama's side eye and does't hesitate to silently judge you, while getting to know you. Once she warms up, however, she will look to you for cuddles and love. Her favorite place to be is snuggled up with her sister and bestie, Bluey. She is one of the smallest of her siblings and highly dislikes being cold. She will seek out the fluffiest blanket, warmest sun spot, or try her hardest to steal your warmth by cuddling up next to you on the couch. Earning this girls trust is well worth the initial side eye and judgement. Rosie would adjust best to a new home with her bestie, Bluey. Please fill out a digital adoption application and email it back to waywardwhiskers15601@gmail.com. If you are unable to complete the application digitally, you may pick up an application at Cattfeinated Cat Cafe or at PetSmart in Greensburg.

Completing the adoption application will expedite the adoption process for you, even if you haven't decided on a cat yet. Once you have completed your adoption survey, a Wayward Whiskers volunteer will contact you via phone/email only if you are APPROVED or if there are any questions regarding your application. Please be patient and kind to our WW volunteer superheroes. They work really hard, and try their best, to respond to applications within 3-4 business days, but that is not always possible.

If you are specifically interested in one of our Cattfeinated Café cats, you must visit the café to meet the cat(s). WW will not approve the adoption of any café cat unless the adopter has met the cat in its home environment at the café. Adoptions always go to the “best fit home,” and not always the order submitted. WW has final determination on all adoption approvals, and if they feel the cat you would like is not the best fit, they will work to help you find the feline who best matches your needs. Wayward has over 120+ cats at any given time- so you will have a lot to choose from! Remember, it’s about helping connect people and cats – we want you to find a fantastic feline, and we want the cats to live long and happy lives, too.

Once your survey is approved and you are matched with the best fit cat, WW will arrange your adoption either at Cattfeinated Cat Cafe or PetSmart in Greensburg. Times will be arranged between you and the WW volunteer. Our adoption donation fee is: Adults: $100/$160 for two and Kittens: $125/$200 for two.

Wayward Whiskers is non-profit (501c-3), all volunteer animal rescue dedicated to protecting and improving the lives of abused, abandoned and neglected homeless cats and kittens and placing them in loving, permanent homes.

We strive to provide educational and low/free veterinary programs to our community to help end animal suffering related to overpopulation. Wayward assists our community by providing free/low cost veterinary services and TNR (trap-neuter-return) programs to reduce overpopulation.

Wayward Whiskers currently has over 100 cats and kittens available for adoption. all cats are current on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, FELV and FIV tested, microchipped, wormed and flea treated.
