🐾 Meet Wobb – A Distinguished 12-Year-Old Gentleman 🐾
Wobb is a handsome long-haired grey-and-white senior who arrived with his siblings after their owner’s schedule kept him away from home for long stretches. Now, Wobb is ready to find a new family who can give him the time, comfort, and companionship he deserves.
He previously lived with other cats, and while his experience with dogs or kids is unknown, he has been welcoming and confident with staff so far. We’re still learning more about his preferences, but his calm approach and easygoing nature have made him a shelter favorite already.
💙 Health Notes: Wobb has a history of urinary crystals. To keep him feeling his best, he’ll need to remain on a prescription urinary diet, and it will be important for him to maintain a healthy weight long-term. With good care and the right food, he can continue to thrive comfortably for years to come.
✨ Quick Facts About Wobb: • 12 years old • Long-haired, grey and white • Friendly with staff • Lived with other cats • Dogs/kids: Unknown • Needs to stay on a urinary prescription diet
If you’re looking for a mature companion with charm, calm energy, and a whole lot of dignity, Wobb may be exactly who you’ve been waiting for.
Wobb's adoption fee has been sponsored by a cat lover, who wants to help give him his best chance at finding a loving home.

More about this shelter
The Humane Society of Barron County is a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter serving Barron County and surrounding areas.
Established in 1978 by a small but dedicated group of core volunteers, the HSBC started out with these volunteers taking animals into their own homes and advertising the need for forever homes for these animals. Over the years, since this humble beginning the HSBC has grown into the organization that it is today. From the homes of volunteers, relying on fundraising and the generous donations of our community, we have grown into and remain in our home on Guy Avenue in Barron.
HSBC is operated by a small staff and relies heavily on volunteers, as well as funds from donations, adoptions, memberships and fundraisers to keep our doors open for the animals needing our assistance.
We sincerely thank you for making this possible.
