Meet Buttercup — The Sweetest Social Butterfly Around!
Buttercup is a total lap cat with a heart full of love and a personality as bright as her name. With her soft, sunny nature and gentle, trusting spirit, she wants nothing more than to be close to her humans. Whether she’s curled up in your lap, nestled beside you in bed, or greeting visitors at the door, Buttercup spreads warmth everywhere she goes.
This sweetheart is also wonderfully playful and social. She loves romping around with other cats, chasing toy mice, and batting with anything that moves... Especially if it has catnip! And when she’s ready for attention? She’ll gently hop onto your shoulders and ask you to carry her around—don't worry, she won't even use her claws to hang on, she'll just balance there waiting to give you pure affection! Buttercup is the kind of kitty who bonds deeply and delights in being part of the family.
Buttercup has met other foster cats and humans of all kinds, greeting everyone with friendliness and charm. She even greets her foster mom's human guests at the door! She would make a fantastic family cat and would do well with children who enjoy a gentle, affectionate companion. Since she is so social and playful, Buttercup would truly appreciate having a feline friend in her forever home—and she would be especially thrilled to be adopted with her mom, Ivy or her sister, Ginger. She is particularly fond of Ginger whom she adores playing and snuggling with. Given her friendly and easy-going personality she might also do well with a doggy friend, as long as she is given a slow and thoughtful introduction. She could also do well as a solo kitty as long as her humans provide plenty of affection and interactive playtime.
This little love bug enjoys being petted, cuddled, and doted on. She’s a talker, too—ask her what she’s thinking and she’ll tell you an entire story in enthusiastic meows! Buttercup is also very food-motivated and makes dinner time extra adorable with her excited chatter. Playful, affectionate, social, and endlessly loving, Buttercup is the whole package.
