Meet Ginger — The Sweet, Shoulder-Perching Lovebug
Ginger is such a sweet girl who absolutely adores affection. Just like her mom, Ivy, and her older sister, Buttercup, this little cuddle bug loves to jump right up onto your shoulders to beg for attention—but don’t worry, she’s incredibly gentle about it! It’s impossible not to melt when she climbs up just to be close to you. Ginger always wants to be near people, loving them up with her soft purrs and warm presence. She would thrive in a peaceful home filled with kindness, affection, and lots of time with animal and human friends alike.
In her foster home, Ginger has been around other foster cats and many human visitors, and she greets everyone like an old friend. She loves playing with her foster brothers and sisters and has a wonderfully social personality. Because she’s still young, Ginger will need a forever home with another kitty companion to help her continue learning and growing. She would be over the moon to be adopted with her big sister and best friend, Buttercup, who she loves to play and snuggle with.
Playtime is a big part of Ginger’s day—she especially enjoys crinkle balls, catnip toys, and watching “cat TV” like the curious little explorer she is. Her foster mom’s favorite thing about her is the way Ginger looks into your eyes with so much love and softness, as if she’s telling you just how special you are to her. Ginger can be independent at times, but she always circles back for closeness and comfort.
Ginger would make a wonderful family pet and would do well in a home with older children. She’s very social, loves to greet people at the door, and has a charming way of asking for attention—if you don’t offer enough love, she’ll hop right onto your shoulders to remind you what she needs! She loves to lay on your chest to sleep, curling up like a little warm bean of affection. Ginger is incredibly much a lap cat, a shoulder cat, and a heart-stealing cuddle cat all in one.
Whoever adopts Ginger will be bringing home a gentle, affectionate companion who will fill their home with sweetness, playfulness, and endless warmth.

You will be emailed a link to our online adoption contract. Simply fill it out online to transfer ownership from the rescue to you!
