Freckles is the mama of the year! This absolute sweetheart has done a stellar job raising her tiny crew, and now it's her turn to be doted on. Freckles is a people-lover extraordinaire and even enjoys playtime with other dogs. We’ve been told she's a total natural with kids, too! She's now looking forward to her very last "babysitting job" before she can focus on herself and finding a fabulous forever family. She is heartworm positive but will be starting her treatment soon after arriving, so she needs a quiet, comfy spot to rest her head and a patient foster who can shower her with love and good vibes while she gets better.
I am currently being treated for heartworm disease. Heartworm is not contagious so your resident pets are not at risk! The treatment for this is 3-4 months long and requires a minimum of 3 appointments and strict rest/restricted activity. My adoption can take place during treatment, while TBB manages the financial responsibility of my heartworm treatment at The Bond Between Vet Center. Any other medical care needed outside of the specific care covered in the contract disclaimer, would be the responsibility of my new family.
