My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tequila!  This stunning four-year-old tri-colored Treeing Walker Coonhound is ready for her second chance and a forever family to love.

If you adore classic Coonhound traits, Tequila checks every box:

• Affectionate & loyal: She bonds deeply and has tons of love to give.

• Smart & curious: Tequila is quick to learn with an adventurous streak.

• Hardworking & adventurous: She’s always ready for a walk or a new challenge.

• Laid-back at home: After playtime, she’s happiest curling up for cuddles.

• Strong-willed: Her nose leads the way on endless adventures!

Tequila walks beautifully on leash, loves playtime, and greets everyone with her wagging tail and signature Coonhound bark.

Coonhounds often do well with other pets and children, but they thrive with daily exercise and mental stimulation to stay happy and healthy. As with any dog, with gentle guidance, clear rules, and a consistent routine, Tequila will settle in beautifully and shine as a loving companion. Every day with her will be full of joy, adventure, and unconditional love.

Could Tequila be your perfect match? Apply to adopt her today!

Please note:  You must live within a 175-mile radius of our facility to be considered for adoption.
