My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I’m Jenga, a tiny kitten packed full of love, cuteness, and purrs. I may be little, but I have a big heart and an even bigger desire to find a forever family who will snuggle me, play with me, and help me feel safe and loved.

I adore other cats—especially my sibling Scrabble. We wrestle, play, nap, and cuddle together, and I would love to stay with him if possible. We’re a perfect pair: sweet, silly, and so much fun to have around.

Dogs still make me a little nervous, so I sometimes hiss to let them know I need space, but I’ve already gotten braver since arriving at my foster home. Kids and kind humans? I love them all.

If you’re looking for a loving, snuggly little kitten—and maybe even a bonded pair—I hope you’ll choose me. I’m ready for my forever home, and I can’t wait to be part of someone’s world.

My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?

If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org.

Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you’re welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we’re closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays

More about this shelter

Pawmetto Lifeline, formerly Project Pet, was founded in 1999. Since the opening of our adoption, medical, and boarding facility in Spring 2012, we have been able to save more than 15,000 companion pets from euthanasia and gave them a new lease on life. We continue to strive toward the goal of a no-kill community and state through adoption, pet retention, rescue partnerships, and medical services.
