We adopted Bear from Espanola, NM at 8 weeks old about 1.5 years ago after a family trip. He has been a wonderful dog for the past year and a half, and we are heartbroken to rehome him. After a year of ongoing health issues, my doctor confirmed I am highly allergic to him. I had non-allergenic dogs most of my life and never knew I was allergic.
Bear completed an 8-week training program through Tip Top K9 and responds well to multiple commands, especially with his training collar. Like any young dog, he is still learning, but he has a great foundation. Recently, he has shown mild nervous/protective behavior around new people entering our home or while on leash, but he settles quickly. He does great with other dogs and attends Annie's Ruff House doggy daycare 2 to 3 times a week, where he is very loved. He also does great in dog parks, We hope to find him an amazing home where he can thrive.
