This handsome 1-year-old, 48-pound pitbull mix is as sweet as they come. With his piercing blue eyes, affectionate nature, and submissive demeanor around other dogs, he’s an easy boy to fall in love with.

Valor is a curious, playful pup with a great amount of energy — the perfect companion for someone looking for an adventure buddy. And he’s not just playful… he’s a total silly clown who loves trying to get other dogs to play with him! His goofy antics and happy-go-lucky vibes make him a joy to have around.

He was dumped by being chained to a tree, so who knows why he didn’t get to keep his family, but he came to us clean and well-fed.

Adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, health certificate and transportation.

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
