My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ginger Havoc — chaos with a heart and the cutest little troublemaker in training!

This 4-month-old orange tabby earned his name for a reason. He’s got a sprinkle of mischief, a dash of spice, and a whole lot of curiosity. Ginger Havoc is a little shy and semi-feral, which means he takes time to trust people and will need a patient, loving home to help him come out of his shell.

Once he feels safe, his playful, affectionate side shines through. He loves exploring, batting at toys, and curling up for a cozy nap. He’s still a kitten with a little harmless chaos in him, but that only makes him more lovable.

If you have experience socializing shy kittens—or are ready for a rewarding challenge—Ginger Havoc could be the perfect companion for you.

Go meet their pets

Thank you for your interest in adopting from West Valley City/Taylorsville Animal Services! We would love for you to come to the shelter and meet your new family member.

You can come to the shelter Monday through Friday between 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm and walk through to see the animals we have available for adoption.

Please keep in mind that adoptions are first come, first serve. We often have a few pets that would make a good match for each family, so if the animal you are interested in is no longer available, you can still come in and meet some animals to see if there's a good fit.

You can see all of our animals at www.wvcpets.com [wvcpets.com]
