Tippy (about 8 months old as of 10/30/25) is a spayed female grey shorthaired kitten. Tippy is more shy than most of her foster siblings, maybe in part due to her slightly crossed eyes that may make her vision a little less sharp and give her insecurities. But if you can be patient with Tippy and win her over you'll be rewarded with her sweet little purrs. She still manages to be a curious, playful kitten even when her fears are getting the better of her. She's great with other cats and would do best adopted with another kitten or to a home with a playful cat who wouldn't mind having a meek little sister. She hasn't had a lot of dog experience but she might do okay with a really calm dog. Tippy would not be our first choice for families with small kids as she'll get overwhelmed by too much chaos and may just opt to hide around them.

The application will be processed in 2-7 days depending on response time from employer, current vet, landlord and reference. A home visit is done when the cat is delivered to its new home. Kittens 3 to 6 months old are $125, kittens 6 mo to 1 year are $100, and adults cats over 1 year are $80. This includes neuter, rabies and distemper vaccinations, parasite treatment and microchip.

Cats can also be met in their foster homes with an approved application. Care Animal Hospital, 1214 W. Park Ave, Libertyville also fosters 1-2 cats that can be seen during normal business hours. PetSmart Skokie has 1-3 cats for adoption through Spay and Stay also.
