Here's what the humans have to say about me:
At just 3.5 months old and already 18 pounds (as of 12/6) of brindle cuteness, Jareth, a super sweet Pit Bull Terrier mix, has mastered the art of being adored without causing chaos. Smart, calm, and well-balanced, Jareth likes the outside world, but approaches it like a thoughtful philosopher - - curious and polite - - but not the type to fling himself into questionable situations. Adventurous to a point, but clearly not a daredevil, Jareth seems wiser than his age would suggest.
Jareth is adjusting beautifully to city life, taking in his new surroundings with wide puppy eyes and a wagging tail. Jareth loves his walks, cherishes his playtime, and befriends any creature who crosses his path - - dogs, cats, kids, humans…he sees them all as potential pals. Jareth is also an Olympic-level cuddler. He’ll snuggle with you, he’ll snuggle with another dog, or he’ll snuggle with whatever soft thing is available. This pup’s love language is full-body contact! Awwww!
Despite being a puppy, Jareth has got the temperament of a seasoned gentleman. He doesn’t bark much, he barely sheds, and he’s shockingly trustworthy for someone who hasn’t even learned all his vowels yet. He plays happily on his own with toys - - ANY toy will do - - and manages to keep himself occupied for ages. He’s not much into treats, but give him time and he’ll probably write a sonnet about beef jerky.
Jareth is housebroken, crate-trained, and learning leash manners like a champ. He picks up cues faster than you can say, Atta Boy, and he responds instantly to the sound of his person’s voice. He sits on command, and there’s a good chance he’ll give you his paw if you ask him nicely. He’s completely gentle with his food, his toys, and with everyone he meets.
Playful but not wild, cuddly but not clingy, independent but deeply loving, Jareth is a dream come true. He naps peacefully in his crate, strolls with you whenever you want, and checks in often to make sure you still know he’s the sweetest puppy ever born. He’s good in the car, he shares his belongings like a furry saint, and he waits patiently for a grassy spot when nature calls.
If you’re looking to win the puppy jackpot, Jareth is ready to pay huge dividends and be your beautiful brindle bestie.

PupStarz Rescue is an animal welfare group committed to the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs and cats in public shelters at high risk of euthanasia, as well as those in danger of abuse. We are committed to rescuing as many animals as possible, saving over 4,500 dogs and cats since 2015.
PupStarz Rescue is a foster-based rescue, relying on fosters to open their homes and lives to our Animals. Animals in our care receive proper medical care, including alteration, vaccinations, and microchipping.
Following a thorough screening, our animals are placed in loving, responsible, committed forever homes. PupStarz Rescue ensures that adoptions are an appropriate match for both the animal and their new family by educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a furry companion into their lives.
We are committed to the welfare of our "Starz" beyond the adoption process. We maintain open communication with our adopters to ensure a smooth transition, and offer additional support such as positive training techniques.
Founded in 2015, PupStarz Rescue is a non-profit, 501(c)3, no-kill, animal rescue organization.
