How this pet arrived:
Esme was brought in by Field Service Officer on November 11, 2025.
Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Esme, the curious and playful bunny who's ready to settle into the good indoor life. Found as a stray, she's now looking for a loving home where she can shine. Esme thrives when given the freedom to explore her space at her own pace. Watching her hop around, investigate new toys, and discover enrichment is truly delightful! Esme would do best in a calm home where her boundaries are respected. She'll thrive in a large, well-equipped enclosure (the bigger, the better!) with plenty of free-roam time for exercise and exploration. The best way to bond with her is to spend quiet time on the floor, letting her come to you when she's comfortable. Esme enjoys a diet of unlimited hay, fresh leafy greens, quality pellets, and fresh water. With gentle care and patience, she'll blossom into the sweet companion you've been looking for. Don't forget to bring a secure carrier for her safe ride home.
Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV2):
Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV2) is a highly contagious disease affecting rabbits. Due to its presence in San Diego County, all rabbits will receive a mandatory RHDV2 vaccine before adoption. Guests will be charged $14 for this vaccine upon adoption.
