Pumpkin Pie & her Four Pie Kittens — Ready to Fill Your Home with Sweetness

Meet Pumpkin Pie and her four playful pie babies: Apple Pie, Pecan Pie, Blueberry Pie and Cherry Pie.

This little family came to Pet Rescue By Judy after a kind woman took Pumpkin Pie in when she could no longer be cared for. The woman had never owned cats but could see Pumpkin Pie needed a safe place to have her kittens. She lovingly fostered the family through those fragile first weeks — even though she discovered she is allergic — and made sure the kittens were healthy and well-socialized before bringing them to us. Now they’re ready to find their forever homes.

  Their story

Pumpkin Pie arrived under someone else’s wing when her previous caregiver couldn’t keep her. The woman who took her in gave her a calm, secure place to give birth and stayed with the family until the kittens were robust and playful. Because the foster’s allergies worsened as the kittens grew, she made the hard (and responsible) decision to bring them to Pet Rescue By Judy so each cat could find a loving, permanent home.

Each kitten loves playtime, boxes, feather wands, and the occasional  nap.

Adoption match — what we’re looking for

  •    Provide love, safe indoor living, and routine veterinary care.
  • Offer enrichment (toys, scratching posts, playtime) and patience while the kittens settle in.
  • Be prepared for the responsibility of kittens (energy, training, and time).

More about this rescue

We are a private, non-profit rescue located in Sanford, Florida, dedicated to the rescue cats and dogs. Many of them come to us with medical needs. They are doctored to the best of our ability and resources.

Our most urgent goal is to rescue animals that are abandoned or in distress, update their vaccines, and find good new homes for them. But we attempt to be more proactive than that. It is our heartfelt desire to prevent any animal from the need to be "rescued." With that vision in mind, we take a three-prong approach through the education of pet owners and the general public about:
- proper care of animals, including correct diet of good quality food, fresh clean water, daily exercise, and lots of love
- spaying and neutering companion animals (dogs and cats) in order to prevent euthanasia and over-population
- low-cost spay/neuter clinics and wellness centers in their local community
