My name is Boomhauer!

Boy howdy, I`m Boomhauer! If you are looking for a young hound dog, then you will struggle to find a more perfect specimen than I. I`m on the smaller size for my breed, but I do plan to fill out a bit thanks to all the tasty meals I get here at WSHS! My personality is sweet, energetic, curious, goofy, and playful. I`m an affectionate guy, and I am likely to jump up and give a big hug and a kiss to someone when I`m happy to see them. Being a hound dog, I`m an excellent communicator, meaning I like to tell you what is happening at all times in case you aren`t paying attention. I`m learning my obedience skills and practicing walking nicely on the leash, but I`d love to do an obedience class or maybe even nose work with my new family! I have a particular interest in following my nose, and I would love to spend a lot of time exploring the neighborhood, hiking, or even just nosing around in a backyard. I`m a smart guy, but I also have my own ideas about things, so creating a bond will be the key to molding me into the perfect hound dog. I love other dogs and play with them nicely, and I do well with people of all ages, though management would be important with smaller children because I might accidentally knock a tiny person down! I am polite with cats, but my silly energy might put off cats that aren`t interested in playing with me. I`d make an amazing addition to any hound-loving home - apply to meet me today!
