Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Charlot is a bright, loving, energetic young dog who’s almost 3 years old. She did well with the dog in her foster home and would enjoy a canine friend who likes to play just as much as she does. Her play style is simple: she loves to be chased!
She’s incredibly affectionate—if you pause your pets, she’ll climb into your lap for hugs. Charlot is house-trained, crate-trained, and very smart. She already sits for treats and has so much potential to learn more.
Her ideal home has a yard to burn energy and a family who wants an engaged, attention-loving companion. Charlot is ready to bring joy, fun, and lots of love to her forever home.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.
Interested in fostering a dog in need? Join our foster team at www.wilcotx.gov/390/Fostering and click on `Foster Questionnaire.`
Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
We always welcome your dogs to come and meet our dogs, too! We`ll see you soon at either location!
